I’m Ben—a lifelong Department 56 collector and now, proudly, the new publisher of Village D-Lights Magazine.

From Dickens’ Village to Christmas in the City, Seasons Bay to Alpine Village, and the charming Snow Village Easter and Valentine’s collections, I’ve spent years building little worlds full of wonder. Like many of you, this hobby has sparked my imagination, brought joy to every season, and connected me with an amazing community of fellow collectors.

So when the opportunity to purchase Village D-Lights came along, I didn’t hesitate. This magazine has long been a source of inspiration and creativity for collectors around the world, and I’m honored to help carry it into its next exciting chapter.

With 25 years of business experience behind me, I’m stepping into this role with a deep respect for the magazine’s legacy—and big dreams for its future. My goal is to keep everything you love about Village D-Lights while adding fresh energy, expanded digital access, and new ways to connect with our international community.
