Stars, Stripes & Summer Villaging

With Independence Day just around the corner, I have to ask...is anyone creating a 4th of July vignette this year?

I'm thinking about putting together something on the smaller side using my American Pride collection along with a few patriotic favorites from Snow Village. Right now, I'm planning to include the White House, Jefferson Memorial, and Lincoln Memorial, along with Uncle Sam's Fireworks Stand, Roosevelt Park Band Shell, and The Patriotic House. I may even add a few cherry blossom trees around the Tidal Basin to tie everything together.

One of the things I love most about Villaging is that it doesn't have to be Christmas. Summer villages have a charm all their own, and patriotic displays are a wonderful way to celebrate the season while keeping our collections on display throughout the year.

Our community is always looking for fresh ideas and inspiration, and your display may inspire someone else's next project.

I also wanted to say thank you to everyone who has read our Summer issue. It was such a fun issue to put together, and we've received so many wonderful comments from readers. Hearing how much you're enjoying it makes all the work that goes into each issue incredibly rewarding.

Believe it or not, we're already beginning to plan our Fall issue, and it's shaping up to be spook-tacular! We've got some frightfully fun Halloween features, collector displays, and plenty of autumn inspiration in the works. I think you're going to love what's coming.
